What's on Your Mind? Mental Health Today in the Jewish Community
Mental health struggles don't discriminate, and knowing where to turn and feeling safe enough to ask can be harder within a close-knit community. JFS is creating space for that conversation.
Join us for What's on Your Mind? Mental Health Today in the Jewish Community, a candid conversation with two local mental health professionals: Greg Rothschild, LPC, and Susan Chase, Counselor, M.Ed., CPC, CLC. Moderated by Ijo Toporek, Immediate Past President of the JFS Board of Directors, the evening will examine how to break the stigma around mental health in Jewish life and share resources and next steps for anyone who needs support. The event will be held on Thursday, October 8th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the College of Charleston Jewish Studies Center, Arnold Hall, 96 Wentworth St, Charleston.
Coffee and kosher desserts will be served. Parking is available at the George St. Garage, 34 Phillip Street, or via metered street parking.
